Journal of Sustainable Forestry

Publisher:  Taylor & Francis Inc.
01-16-2013 This international journal is refereed and focuses on research that promotes the sustainability of forests for their products (both wood and non-wood), as well as research that contributes to sustainable agroforestry. It fills a niche in the commercial journal market. Two or more of the four issues that make up each volume may be combined to serve as the record of a conference that covers an unusual topic, such as recent issues on "Conflict and Cooperation: Tools for Governing Tropical Forests"; "Biofuels and Avoided Deforestation;b1New Dynamics to the Tropical Forests"; and "Conservation and the Agricultural Frontier: Integrating Forests and Agriculture in the Tropics." These multi-issue titles are often made available as monographs as well. It can be argued that this journal can be forgone because more of this material is now available on the web; however, the fact that this journal is well indexed in the bibliographic databases used by students makes it particularly important for academic collections. This imprint is now owned by Taylor & Francis. Authors may deposit their accepted manuscript (post;b2peer review) on their personal or institutional server 12 months after publication, but must acknowledge the published source, must link to the journal homepage, and may not use the publisher's pdf version.
