It is concerned with both well-known and lesser-known forms of violence and seeks to promote dialogue among people of diverse backgrounds working in various fields and disciplines. Contents include research articles, review essays, and clinical, legal, and research notes, as well as book reviews. The journal's web site offers forthcoming articles that are published online ahead of print, and pod casts that feature discussions between selected authors and the journal editor.
