Urban Affairs Review

01-16-2013 Published bimonthly, Urban Affairs Review is a reputable, multidisciplinary scholarly journal in the field of urban studies. Affiliated with the Urban Politics section of the American Political Science Association, the journal publishes original research articles of timely empirical analysis and research on the programs and policies that affect cities. Each issue contains between three and five articles that include an abstract, as well as one to three book reviews. The articles have increased in international coverage since the last review. Articles are published online first then make their way to print. Subscriptions including the electronic component will enable these articles to be viewed. Similar in scope and geographic coverage to the Journal of Urban Affairs, Urban Affairs Review costs slightly more. A very solid journal in its own right, Urban Affairs Review is highly recommended for academic collections. Political science programs may also find this title relevant. (Larsen, Alison)
