01-16-2013 This journal examines postcolonial and Commonwealth literature. Recent articles study authors from across the world: Canada, Guyana, New Zealand, Malaysia, Ireland, and Zambia. Examples of article titles are "Imagining Beast: Images of the Oppressor in Recent Nigerian Poetry in English" and "'We're Using Up the Earth. It's Almost Gone': A Return to the Post-Apocalyptic Future in Margaret Atwood's The Year of the Flood." Each issue contains book reviews, and the journal features an excellent annual bibliography, which is arranged according to region (e.g., Australia, The Caribbean, East and Central Africa).
