The journal publishes scholarly articles that provide comprehensive coverage of research and practice issues in counseling psychology. In-depth issues focus on topics such as counseling HIV-infected clients; counseling lesbian and gay clients; the counseling relationship; multicultural training; victimization; white racial identity; and delayed memory debate. Regular features include a forums section; treatises on current subjects; historical and current topic articles; reviews; and news and highlights of the division's activities. The forum section provides position papers, survey reports, illustrations of assessment and intervention techniques, such as those from the Legacies and Traditions Forum, the Professional Forum, the Scientific Forum, and the International Forum.
