03-22-2007 Second language acquisition and performance are the focus of Second Language Research. One recent article is titled "Effects of Sentence Writing in Second Language Lexical Acquisition." Other recent topics include interlanguage, word order, root infinitives, clauses, sentence writing, and child language. Both long and short contributions are featured, especially those that combine the topics of second language acquisition and performance with theoretical linguistics, neurolinguistics, and first language development psycholinguistics.
