Philosophy of the Social Sciences

01-16-2013 As its title indicates, this interdisciplinary journal explores the philosophical issues arising in the behavioral and social sciences. Content takes the form of articles, discussions, symposia, review essays, and literature surveys. There is a good mixture of perspectives and schools of thought represented in this journal, with the editorial hope of fostering debate and discussion among the various perspectives and schools. In addition to short book reviews, several books receive extended review essays in each issue. Philosophers (both analytic and Continental) as well as economists, linguists, political scientists, psychologists, and sociologists will benefit from this journal. It serves as a complement to the philosophy of science scholarship found in the journal Philosophy of Science (see above in this section). (Pannone, Jason)
