10-04-2006 This journal is an excellent model of what we say scholarly publications are supposed to do;b1provide educated conversation among scholars in the discipline. One of the most international titles in this field, Organization Studies publishes high-level primary research articles, shorter "Research Notes" providing preliminary findings or research ideas not fully formed into a study, and a section called "Essais," which gives authors a forum for debating theories and methods. There are also a number of long book reviews and shorter book notes in each issue. Coverage is especially strong in the study of cultural similarities and differences.
