Journal of Planning Education and Research

01-16-2013 The Journal of Planning Education and Research is the scholarly journal of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning (ACSP). The ACSP is a consortium of universities offering credentials in urban and regional planning that are committed to understanding and improving the versatility of urban and regional development and subsequently to improve education on the subject matter. Published quarterly, the Journal of Planning Education and Research includes six to eight articles per issue. Each article contains an abstract. Articles are a mix of case studies, theory, and pedagogy that focuses on the United States, but with increasing inclusion of other countries. Some recent article topics include community development, neighborhood planning, public policy, and land use. Issues also include upwards of eight book reviews. This journal is a core title and highly recommended for academic libraries, specifically those with planning programs. (Larsen, Alison)
