Journal of Family Issues

01-16-2013 Published monthly, the Journal of Family Issues publishes current research, analyses, and theory from an interdisciplinary perspective, exploring the institutional and social forces that influence marriage and families today. Articles and advocacy pieces represent any topic related to modern family issues and marriage. Recent articles address transracial versus intercountry adoption; boys' household work in single-mother households; work;b2family balance; parent and adult child relationships; race and gender differences in dating rituals; clergy spouses; limiting children's television viewing time; and intergenerational attitudes toward marriage. Recent special issues include "Experiences, Stress, and Resilience in the Face of Disasters: Children, Teachers, Older Adults and Families" and "Irish Voices: Families in a Globalizing Economy."
