01-16-2013 This journal is published quarterly by the International Society for Music Education, and the issues in each volume are split between "Research" and "Practice." Its scholarly articles cover topics such as ethnographic studies in music teaching, research done on various schools of pedagogy, and historical perspectives of teaching around the world. Its international focus is demonstrated through the inclusion of abstracts in French, German, Spanish, and English (though each article itself is in English).
