01-16-2013 A scholarly journal, European Urban and Regional Studies aims to provide a forum for debate between the different processes of urban and regional development. As the name implies, the journal focuses solely on European development but puts this development into a broader global context and makes connections from the local level to the global level. The journal is published quarterly. Each issue contains between six and eight articles, each containing an abstract. Book reviews are sporadic at best. A similar title (with a significantly higher subscription cost), European Planning Studies, is published more frequently and may also be an option for those looking for a European-focused publication.
