Behavior Modification

01-16-2013 This journal provides innovative research, reports, and reviews on applied behavior modification. Each issue is practically oriented, offering comprehensive coverage. It includes "research and clinical articles, treatment manuals, program descriptions, review articles, assessment and modification techniques, theoretical discussions, group comparison designs, and book and media reviews of significant literature in the field." This journal is also interdisciplinary, with articles on variety of topics. Recent issues have provided articles on: targeting body image schema for smoking cessation among college females; predictors of outcome of a parenting group curriculum; behavioral activation for the treatment of atypical depression; binge eating and weight control and role of experiential avoidance; starting a functional assessment of depression (FAD); virtual reality versus computer-aided exposure treatments for fear of flying; effects of the good behavior game on the conduct of regular education New York City high school students; reliability and validity of the Matson Evaluation of Social Skills with youngsters; how sports psychology can improve athletic performance;b1a framework for athletes and coaches; and behavioral systems analysis in health and human services.
