The World Bank Economic Review

01-16-2013 A very widely read scholarly publication, The World Bank Economic Review is a professional journal for the dissemination of World Bank;b2sponsored research on policy analysis and choice. The international readers are "economists and social scientists in government, business, international universities, and development research institutions." Policy is emphasized over theoretical or methodological issues. Readers need to be familiar with economic theory and analysis but not necessarily proficient in mathematics. Six to nine articles are written by World Bank staff and economists. There are occasionally special issues by non;b2World Bank specialists. Highly recommended for academic libraries and larger public libraries. (Crowley, Gwyneth H.)
