The Quarterly Journal of Mathematics

12-15-2004 The Quarterly Journal of Mathematics is an important journal published by the Oxford University Press (cf. Annals of Mathematics and American Journal of Mathematics). It "publishes original contributions to pure mathematics. Areas such as algebra, differential geometry, and global analysis receive particular emphasis. However, the journal avoids specialization." There are about 35;b240 articles published each year in roughly 500 pages. There are no book reviews. Recommended for academic libraries and special adults. (J. Parker Ladwig)
