11-15-1997 Physica Scripta is the primary Scandinavian journal for reporting research in physics. It covers all branches of physics and is sponsored by the Physical Societies of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Both experimental and theoretical papers are accepted, covering such topics as atomic, molecular, optical, and plasma physics. Occasional review papers are also included, as well as special issues that present the proceedings of conferences and symposia. Although the journal originates in Sweden, articles are published almost exclusively in English (French and German are also accepted). This title supplements the physics journals from other areas of the world and belongs in comprehensive collections.
