With an emphasis on issues of policy, administration, and education, the journal includes blind peer-reviewed qualitative and quantitative research studies, essays, literature reviews, and book reviews. Integrating theory and practice, articles are meant to further the study and understanding of community college students, administrators, and faculty, and the educational environment of community college. Recent articles have focused on the benefits of attending community college, current reliance on adjunct faculty, remedial mathematics programs, and restructuring higher education in Europe. An important title for libraries that serve the higher education community, the journal supports the work of administrators, faculty, graduate students, researchers, and policy makers with an interest in community colleges.
